eaUtils 1.19: enhanced version of Enterprise Architect diagram's Set Visible Relations

eaUtils 1.19 has been released with a new feature to easily update the visible and hidden connectors from a diagram by displaying them by type and stereotype.

Locks management (version control, EA security) has been improved. Update Notes and Constraints: processing time reduced.

New model searches are available the eaUtils MDG v0.2 to easily search elements by GUID, object id, alias, or stereotype.

eaUtils 1.18: improved Image Asset support, menus and messages

eaUtils 1.18.1 has been released with the following improvements:

Image Asset support
- When an element e.g. a class or boundary shows an image asset, eaUtils makes it possible to select the image asset element in the Browser. Available via a right click or the Alt+I keyboard shortcut.
- Easily create a boundary on a diagram to show the selected image asset (EA 15 doesn't support Boundary elements).
Overall improvement of the menu managements for a better usability.
Improved messages, and a better display of error messages.

eaUtils 1.17: enhanced Find in All Diagrams, keyboard shortcut support

eaUtils Find in All Diagrams has been further improved to support Image Assets and linked boundaries, and use Information Flow connectors to find an element's usage as a conveyed item.

To easily run your favorite eaUtils features, an optional keyboard shortcut has been introduced e.g. run the custom Find in All Diagrams with ALT + U.

eaUtils 1.16.1 released with the first SysML feature

eaUtils 1.16 has been released with its first SysML feature for Systems Engineering and MBSE.

Its "Synchronize parts stereotypes" feature updates SysML stereotypes within the internal block diagram according to the associated block's stereotype, and custom mapping rules. This is useful when using an MDG that contains a toolbox and blocks/parts stereotypes such as hw block, sw block, hw part, sw part, etc.

eaUtils 1.15 released

The completed 1.15 version of eaUtils is available to download with a new Find in all Diagrams feature, an improved behaviour when running eaUtils addin on diagrams, and the Cloud connexion support (the correct DBMS is detected).

This feature has been shared via a video available from UMLChannel blog Youtube channel.

eaUtils 1.14 Release Candidate 1 available

The first RC of the new version 1.14 of eaUtils is available to download. It includes enhancements on the elements sorting (Object ID, sub elements support), breadcrumb trail (new options), cancel a process, etc.

Portable edition of eaUtils installation, first release in v1.13.3

Where users have a professional PC with locked admin rights, eaUtils add-in couldn't be installed. To address this issue, I defined an alternate Portable edition of the installation file, released in version 1.13.3.

Initial tests have been successful so far.

eaUtils 1.13 first candidate release available

eaUtils version 1.13 (build 1710-1) has been released today. Enhancements has been carried on the user interface and menus by moving options to the dialog window.

Automated tests preview posted on Youtube

An automated tests module running for eaUtils will be shared at my upcoming presentation at the next EA User Group in London (19/05/2017).

eaUtils 1.12 is available

The first official release of eaUtils version 1.12 (build 1612-4) is available. Features and enhancements:

Added a sort by modified or created date on diagrams within a package or composite element
Generate Alias: added an option to generate the alias for elements matching a single, selected stereotype. This can be useful e.g. for Archimate diagrams. This may be coupled with the object type restriction.
Improved locking control rules (element locks with or without security)
New sorting option: Sort numbering sequences including prefixes (e.g. REQ-1.1, REQ-1.2, REQ-1.10, REQ-1.15, REQ-2.0, REQ-2.1...) (asked by pli)
Package Tree Sorting popup window not closed when done to allow reviewing processed packages

- by the default “BrowserOrder” or a configurable Custom Tagged Value
- by Stereotype

Sort elements from a package tree selection by Alias, Tagged Value, Stereotype, or Name
Apply the default sorting order on a selected package or element
Sorting feature settings: enable case sensitive and extract integer from string values
Sort a package elements by the order displayed from top to bottom, or from left to right, on a diagram selected from the project browser (optional: ignore external elements)
Generate elements alias values according to their order in a diagram (top to bottom, or left to right)
Generate the breadcrumb trail on a diagram selected from the project browser
